Muslim Cleric Found Guilty

If England is fighting terrorism, why on earth is it harboring radical imams and Islamic so called intellectuals who call for Jihad and promote hatred and racism on Al Jazeera and other Arabic TV stations?

Muslim Cleric Found Guilty.

Muslim cleric Abu Hamza al-Masri was found guilty by a British court for inciting murder and promoting racial hate. He is to serve seven years in prison. The infamous cleric was the imam of a mosque in north London. He promoted radical ideas against Jews, Christians, and the West in general.
Recently, many TV stations showed the imam, waving the stumps of his arms( both his forearms were amputated as a result of an accident in Afghanistan) and shouting at his audience, urging them to have no sympathy for the enemies of Islam but to kill them without mercy.
Al Masri (the name means The Egyptian, in Arabic) has moved to Britian few years ago, and married a British woman. His seremons at the mosque used to be well attended by Moslems, including a good number of impressable young people.

Passing sentence at the Old Bailey, Mr Justice Hughes told Abu Hamza"No one can say now what damage your words may have caused - no one can say whether any of your audiences, present or wider, acted on your words". The judge also said that"the cleric has helped persuade his followers that they had a "moral and religious duty to kill."

It is worth noting that US authorities are seeking the cleric's extradition for terror-related. matters. However, it seems that he cannot be extradited until he has finished serving his jail sentence in Britain.

Anti-terror officers from Scotland Yard are investigating how one of the 7 July bombers, who worked part-time in a fish and chip shop, left more than £100,000 after his death.
Senior police sources say that they are working on the theory that Shehzad Tanweer, who blew himself up at Aldgate tube station, may have been paid by a terror mastermind to carry out the attacks.
