Qaradawi is asking for an apology?

Qaradawi, regarded by Muslims as a moderate cleric

Does Qaradawi have the right to ask for apology?
Qaradawi, who was behind the recent escalation of reaction against the cartoons published 3 months ago strongly condemned the portrayal of Islam as violent and said on Al Jazeera -his mouthpiece- " This is a direct insult to Islam and its prophet"
This cartoon particularly offended Qaradawi:

Despite our reservations against such cartoon, let's see what Qaradawi thinks of suicide bombings:

Qaradawi's own words on his website:

" Martyrdom Operations Are the Greatest Form of Jihad:

Dr. Yussuf Qaradawi has confirmed that the operations carried out by the Muslim youth that defend the lands of Islam and the religion and dignity of Islam are the greatest forms of Jihad for the sake of Allah. They fall under the definition of legitimate terrorism… 'I maintain that it is wrong to consider these acts as 'suicidal,' because these are heroic acts of martyrdom, which are in fact very different from suicide'"

It is remarkably ironic that the same fanatics who shout insults against Denmark, and burn the Danish flag, do not raise a single voice against acts of Islamic terrorism. Where are they when innocent people are kidnapped, tortured, and beheaded in public in the name of Islam? Where are they when Islamic books, radio stations, TV, newspapers, mosques preachers,..etc, attack Christian beliefs, denounce the character of Jesus, and call for Jihad against Jews and Christians whom they consider pigs and monkeys? Where are they when churches are destroyed and burnt in Indonesia, Egypt, Iraq, and many other Moslem countries?
This Qaradawi is the biggest example of a fanatic, barbaric, and stupid hyocrite.

Who cares about Pope Alexander IV (1254-61)? who was a POPE of Rome. This guy must be one of the people who send their troops to the Middle East. His words do not mean a thing to any Christian. The facts are clear as you see from the words of God:

Matthew 5: 38 "You have heard that it was said, "An eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth.' 39But I tell you not to resist an evil person. But whoever slaps you on your right cheek, turn the other to him also. 40If anyone wants to sue you and take away your tunic, let him have your cloak also. 41And whoever compels you to go one mile, go with him two. 42Give to him who asks you, and from him who wants to borrow from you do not turn away.
In Christianity, there is no an eye for an eye, but forgiveness. Just to let you know, God never changes his words later to install the old commands. In Christ, God’s Salvation had come to all humanity. God in Christ is WITH US. He is not up in the sky, or somewhere in the universe our outside the Universe, He is with us. You see when you meet Christ, and accept Him, God lives in your heart. NOTHING can be done by a prophet, a political leader or a book (bible Quran, Buddhist books) can get you beyond and above the condition where God lives in your heart. That is what it means to be a Christian.
Peace

Psalm 140

140:1 Deliver me, O LORD, from the evil man: preserve me from the violent man;

140:2 Which imagine mischiefs in their heart; continually are they gathered together for war.

140:3 They have sharpened their tongues like a serpent; adders' poison is under their lips. Selah.

140:4 Keep me, O LORD, from the hands of the wicked; preserve me from the violent man; who have purposed to overthrow my goings.

140:5 The proud have hid a snare for me, and cords; they have spread a net by the wayside; they have set gins for me. Selah.

140:6 I said unto the LORD, Thou art my God: hear the voice of my supplications, O LORD.

140:7 O GOD the Lord, the strength of my salvation, thou hast covered my head in the day of battle.

140:8 Grant not, O LORD, the desires of the wicked: further not his wicked device; lest they exalt themselves. Selah.

140:9 As for the head of those that compass me about, let the mischief of their own lips cover them.

140:10 Let burning coals fall upon them: let them be cast into the fire; into deep pits, that they rise not up again.

140:11 Let not an evil speaker be established in the earth: evil shall hunt the violent man to overthrow him.

140:12 I know that the LORD will maintain the cause of the afflicted, and the right of the poor.

140:13 Surely the righteous shall give thanks unto thy name: the upright shall dwell in thy presence.

What the Bible says about burning people to death. Hitler, no wonder!

As a Christian originally from Egypt, I don’t agree with these insults to Mohammed, or Muslims. It plays in the hand of the devil who wants us to HATE Muslims, which makes us like the devil.
I love Muslims, and I will always pray for their salvation. Christ has taught us that He came NOT to judge but to SAVE those who have been lost.
This is a deep paradox, because if you feel you are saved, it likely that you stopped grown and therefore is like to be lost. However, a humble person who feels that he does not deserve God’s grace is most likely growing in the love of God and therefore is likely to be a member of the Kingdom of God.
Arrogant and unloving people (of all faiths) are unlikely to grow, and therefore unlikely to meet God. So if we want to meet God, please let us humble ourselves and cleans our heart so God can find a holy place for Him in us.

As for the Muslim fellows, you have to understand that those who did these are most likely to be Atheists who don’t believe in any spiritual matters. In the West the society believe that the media is different from the government, so they are free to insult God, Jesus or anyone for that matter. So don’t take it PERSONALLY, they did it to us before.

If muslim people were peaceful, sober, and dignified in their response, then indeed the cartoons and their promulgators would seen as fools.

However, it appears that by their actions, many in the Islamic community have embodied the message of the cartoon. The Muslim world has made this cartoon a true statement!
