Turkish Anti-Semitic Film Sells Out In Germany.

Young Muslim Turks Chant "Allah is Great" as They watch a Dagger Plungging into the Heart of an American Commander.

A virulently anti-Semitic film about the Iraq war has provoked a storm of protest in Germany after it sold out to cheering audiences from the country's 2.5 million-strong Turkish community.
Valley of the Wolves, by the Turkish director Serdan Akar, shows crazed American GIs massacring innocent guests at a wedding party and scenes in which a Jewish surgeon removes organs from Iraqi prisoners in a style reminiscent of the Nazi death camp doctor Joseph Mengele.

US soldiers storm a wedding party in a scene from the film.
Bavaria's interior minister admitted last week that he had dispatched intelligence service agents to cinemas showing the film to "gauge" audience reaction and identify potential radicals.
Edmund Stoiber, the state's conservative prime minister, has appealed to cinema operators to remove what he described as "this racist and anti-Western hate film" from their programmes.
The £6 million film, the most expensive Turkish production ever made, had already proved a box office hit in Turkey, where it first opened last month at a gala attended by the wife of the country's prime minister.
The production went on general release in Germany a fortnight ago and has had full houses ever since. More than 130,000 people, most of them young Muslims, saw the film in the first five days of its opening. At a packed cinema in a largely Turkish immigrant district of Berlin last week, Valley of the Wolves was being watched almost exclusively by young Turkish men. They clapped furiously when the Turkish hero of the film was shown blowing up a building occupied by the United States military commander in northern Iraq.
In the closing sequence, the hero is shown plunging a dagger into the heart of a US commander called Sam, played by Billy Zane. The audience responded by standing up and chanting "Allah is great!"
Afterwards, an 18-year-old member of the audience said: "The Americans always behave like this. They slaughtered the Red Indians and killed thousands in Vietnam.
"I was not shocked by the film, I see this on the news every day."
The nature of the film and the enthusiastic reception given to it by young Muslims, has both shocked and polarised politicians and community leaders.
Bernd Neumann, the culture minister in Chancellor Angela Merkel's government complained last week that the reaction to the film "raises serious questions about the values of our society and our ability to instil them".
Kenan Kolat, the head of Germany's Turkish community, insisted that a ban on the film would make matters worse. "If it is withdrawn, it will raise levels of identification with the film," he said. "A democracy must be able to endure films that it doesn't approve of."
Alin Sahin, the film's distributor in Germany, argued: "When a cartoonist insults two billion Muslims it is considered freedom of opinion, but when an action film takes on the Americans it is considered demagoguery. Something is wrong."
But those arguing for a ban on Valley of the Wolves appeared to have won a partial victory last week when Cinemaxx, one of Germany's largest cinema chains, announced that it was withdrawing the film.

No problem. Then Turkey stays out of the EU FOREVER. How about that? The Turks will whine and seethe but they'll do it outside of Europe and Europeans won't care

Allowing Turkey to join the EU means opening the doors of Europe widely to all sorts of islamists and fanatics. I find it amazing that Europeans do not realize this simple fact. The Turkish borders with the rest of the EU will be the main gate for all sorts of criminals to go wherever they want in Europe. Is it too late to stop this horrible mistake?

The only reason the mongoloid Turks were allowed to join NATO was their guarding access to the Black Sea. It's high time Constantinople go back to the Greeks.

AGREED!

My only hope is that if Turkey joins, the Christians there would get basic rights. The Ecumenical Patriarch as well as the Greek and Armenian communities there are suffering due to isolation. Turkey's entry into the EU would force it to change policy, and let them get outside help , money, and support

This is exactly why I scoffed at the Turkish advertising effort to promote tourism in "Occupied Asia Minor, "Turkey Welcomes You". Oh really? Do they welcome us BACK? Or should I visit simply to remove the graves of my relatives and have them moved to the US before their cemetaries are further desecrated?

I don't think Germans should close down the film. The movie isn't instilling radicalism or prejudice in as much as it is exposing it.

They should realize you can close down movie theaters, but you can't close down mosques. So, I think it'd behoove the Germans, French, and every other Western nation with large Muslim populations to ask themselves why they aren't assimilating. How much are the native Europeans to blame and how much is it the fault of Islamic teachings and fanaticism.

Alexander, You raise a very good point, keep it around. Let the rest of society see what Islam is really about

You all need to shut the fuck up! I can't believe how ignorant you all are. As a practicing Catholic with no affiliation to Islam what so ever, even I know that everything you are all spewing out of your mouths is a load of crap. Why don't you educate yourselves on the matter or perhaps read the Koran. This is not a collective group of people who are terrorists, this is 1%. These people that say there doing this for the will of Allah are not real Muslims. Muslims are peaceful and if you took five minutes to check it out you would know. You are all a bunch of rednecks who really don't know what your talking about. Turkey is a bridge to the Islamic world and it making much progress. I have been there several times and even studied there and attended mass. Why don't you try living there before you attack it. If you want peace, then lets work together not attack one another. You guys are no better then the radicals blowing people up in the Middle East, your both uneducated. These are uneducated men and women doing this who are listening to the likes of people like Osama bin Laden, who is telling them his interpretation of the Koran, not the actual words within it. They can't read, many don't even attend school and there governments are telling them all sorts of nasty things about the United States, Europe. If there is anyone to blame, it is the governments of Syria, Iran etc. not the people. If you want to complain in your blog and go on and on that is fine but how about getting up off of your ass' and doing something about this mess. Volunteer your time to build bridges between yourselves and Muslims within in the community, educate yourselves on the Islamic faith and actually talk to a Muslim before you rant and rave about how horrible they are. I feel sorry that you have such negative thoughts if you want to battle with my thoughts on the matter then give me something good, not just, "Muslims are terrorists". Anyone can come up with something like that. And in regards to girls being kidnapped and forced to convert, what the hell did we do during the crusades? Like I said before, not every country is as prosperous and technilogically advanced as we are so you can't compare them to us. Some places in this world are no better then they were hundreds of years ago. And what, Americans aren't capable of such barbaric measures? After 9/11 people went insane and started targeting anyone that looked Middle Eastern. In California a Christian man who left Egypt to escape persicution was shot and killed on his way into his store, no less then by some maniac who thought he was Muslim. A whole family lost there lives due to some mental man who wanted to get back at them for 9/11. They weren't Muslim as well, they were Hindu. And what about the recent events in New York. A man raped, and killed a woman by tearing her to shreds and cutting her vaginal area and breasts? Is that not barbaric enough for you?

Here you go then Smaruski. Read and enjoy some of the latest barbaric acts conducted in the name of Islam around the world. I have no connection with the website given below and am not Muslim or Christian. But the list of attrocities on this site is breathtaking AND backed up by photographic and other evidence. Wake up and smell the coffee, before your nice Islamic bros come to visit you, as they have these other people in countries all over the World.
