Europe Gives the Palestinians 143 Million US Dollars

The European Union said Monday that it will give the Palestinian Authority $143 million in emergency aid. Once again, it is the "Christian" West who comes to the rescue of the collapsing Palestinian economy. This in spite of the increasing fanatic islamism in the area and the bloody terrorist history of Hamas, the fanatic organization that has been newly elected to form a Palestinian government.

French Foreign Minister Philippe Douste-Blazy told The Associated Press on Monday that the EU funds were needed to prevent "economic chaos" from paralyzing the Palestinian Authority.
Hamas won January's parliamentary Palestinian elections, toppling the Fatah Party, which had dominated Palestinian politics for decades.
